Grief Support

Grief is normal and natural. There are no steps, stages or ways to go through grief. It is an individual process. Pet’s grieve too. We have gathered some resources here to help our pet parents grow around grief.

In case of an urgent mental health state here are some free resources:

  • Jolene with Off the Beaten Path is a Certified Grief Educator.
  • Judith Blythe works out of the VCA Canada Western Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre. She specifically works with pet loss and bereavement. Call VCA Western at 403.770.1340 to book an appointment.
